The Sin Eater is our longest and most pure Pikal design, a slim, lightweight variant with a neutral handle that offers real reach with a slender blade. The Sin Eater is a favourite for those who long for something with serious damage potential.
The Tier 1 Range is our most utilitarian option, aimed at users who are looking for a Defensive EDC or tactical use knife that doesn’t require a lot of maintenance, and who want a knife with little to no frills. The Tier 1 Sin Eater is still an entirely handmade knife however. With a freehand ground blade finished with a Matte Black Cerakote coating, and hand sculpted G10 scales to give it some unique charm. These knives are all made as “off the shelf” stock, so if it is available you should grab one while you can!
The blade is ground as a single edge, with the primary edge flat ground on the Pikal side. The Sin Eater is made from thinner stock 80Crv2 and hardened to around 61 HRC. The thinner stock reduces weight, but the paint integrity is retained by making the blade single edge. This ensures a robust and tough point that can drive through whatever stands in its way.
The bolt on scale is a new feature of our scale handle knives. This allows the scales to be removed for maintenance, and even refinishing the blade in the future, giving the blade a much longer working life-span. The scale is entirely hand finished in either the Tsuka Pattern or Tsunami Pattern textures, and is shaped from a solid slab of G10 in either Black or OD.
Made to be dependable and tough this Sin Eater comes with a Fold over style Kydex Sheath and can be fitted out with Soft Loop or DCC HLR Clip mounts.
The Tier 1 Sin Eater is a devastatingly effective weapon for close range Defensive knife work, or the operator who wants a blade that will get the job done.
