The Yokai

TheYokai has returned! Veteran Ironside Edge Works owners will recognise this unique and scary looking knife from past years, and with some slight tweaks to the design it is now available again.

The main feature of the Yokai is its distinctive short, curved, Hook-like blade which can be devastatingly effective on soft tissues. Whether it’s a forward grip slashing cut, or a reverse grip drag, it will cleave through tissue with ease. The single edge point is robust, while still being made from slightly thinner stock to keep the edge fine.

The Tier 1 Yokai has been updated mainly in the handle. The very ergonomic and neutral handle allows the user to hold the knife in a multitude of grips, forward or reverse, even reverse edge-in are all comfortable for the average hand-size. This makes it extremely versatile for those with an adaptive methodology.

The Tier 1 range finishes the blade in Matte Black Cerakote for a durable and user friendly blade, with little required maintenance. The handle options include Black G10, OD Green G10 and Carbon Fiber, which are textured in a modified Anso pattern. The Yokai is housed in a Fold Over Kydex sheath with your choice of IWB or OWB Mounting.

The Tier 1 range is designed to offer an affordable utilitarian defensive knife option to those looking for an expedient solution.
