The Sakura is our smallest knife, a tiny Pikal which is deceptive in its appearance. It may be small and delicate looking, but the Sakura comes with a razor like surprise.
The Sakura is ground from thinner blade stock, keeping it very lightweight and slim, at 0.15″ thick. This also means the blade can be ground to a fine single edged bevel. The blade is short at just 50mm / 2″ but it’s more than enough to do some real damage, especially on the soft tissues of the face and neck, and create an opening to escape.
The overall length of the Sakura is around 140mm / 5.50″ making it extremely easy to conceal carry, especially for those who are of a smaller frame. The handle is simple and tapers out towards the end, and swells to give the required retention while remaining free of snag points. This makes it very easy to index and access from concealment.
This is Sakura number 013 and has been beautifully appointed with an 80Crv2 blade which has been finely hand mirror finished and hot blued to give a classic, deep dark appearance. The handle is stabilised Maple Burl, shaped in a soft contour and satin polished, with a bright polished brass liner and pins to add a bit of colour.
This Sakura is supplied with a compact Fold Over Kydex sheath which can be easily fitted with Soft Loops or IWB clips as needed, we recommend Discreet Carry Concepts HLR clips for IWB carry.
