The Diavel is back! After a brief hiatus the Diavel has returned with a design revamp, but remains a small, agile and devastating defensive knife that also has the ability to be discreet and charming.
The Diavel is a simple, single edge hawksbill style knife, with an extremely neutral handle. Updates to the design include the blade now having a V-Grind bevel, replacing the old asymmetric style edge. This results in an edge that is super sharp with the subtle inward curve of the hawksbill design. The handle is also updated with a subtle change to the end of the handle and the addition of a rear fitting on the Tsukamaki variant. This completes its look and the neutral handle is perfect for a great tight Tsukamaki.
DV051 is the first of this new generation. The blade has been finished with a Satin Antique etch, keeping in the same colour palette of the handle. The Tsukamaki has been built up on a polished copper liner with mirror polished black buffalo horn fittings. The Samegawa (Ray Skin) has been antique lacquered with a Burgundy Silk Ito wrap over the top. As always, the Tsukamaki has been completed with proper hishigami underneath and is wrapped extremely tight.
This Diavel is completed with a Fold Over style Kydex Sheath with a Soft Loop mount. Though it could easily be fitted with a DCC HLR Clip if you prefer it.
