The Bishop – Bone & Brass
The Bishop is a conventional style forward grip fighting knife based on a Persian style knife with a stout upswept point. Elegant and tough!
Out of stock
The Bishop is the newest design in the Ironside Edge Works stable and the first knife designed by both makers. A more conventional forward grip fighter which is as elegant as it is deadly.
The Bishop is influenced by Persian style blades, with a very subtle upswept point. The blade is made from thick stock 80Crv2, which is ground to a fine zero convex edge, making it very sharp. While the Persian influence can be felt in the robust point which is supported by a swedge.
The handle offers a comfortable grip, especially for those with larger hands, without snag points or hot-spots. Importantly, it is comfortable to use in forward, reverse, and while not completely ideal, Pikal grip is also usable.
This Tier 3 Custom version of the Bishop is one of the most striking. The entire handle scale is solid, stabilised bone which has been carefully hand engraved with our “Giger” Pattern. The bone is then taken to a satin finish and sealed. There is a polished brass liner and brass mosaic pins to accent the handle and give it a splash of bright colour. The blade itself is high polished and given a patina etch for an antique look.
The Bishop comes with a full Kydex sheath for secure concealed carry and is fitted with a Discreet Carry Concepts 5.1 HLR Gear Clip as standard.
