The Shrike, the most vicious little bird. Like its namesake, this blade will impale and butcher...

SHRIKE

/ʃrʌɪk/ - a songbird with a strong sharply hooked bill, known for impaling its prey on thorns.

The Shrike was the first combative knife produced by Ironside Edge Works. Designed to be comfortable to conceal and EDC, the Shrike is a formidable blade. The pikal style lends itself extremely well to stabbing and draw cutting, using powerful ripping actions to open gaping wounds in soft tissue.

The Shrike has its primary blade on the reverse edge, with a shorter secondary blade on the forward edge. The secondary edge can be useful when the Shrike is used in forward grip, but the secondary edge also aids the release of the blade should it get stuck in bone, by pushing it forward.

The Shrike can be ordered with the standard 1 and 3/4 edge or a full Double Edge.

The handle is ergonomic and designed to feel comfortable to clench grip with a natural fist, remaining extremely secure with no slipping. There are no edges to snag on during accessing or during stripping actions.

The handle can be finished in classic contoured G10 scales or with a traditional silk ito Tsukamaki wrap. The Shrike comes with a custom fitted Kydex sheath offering superb positive retention, which can be mounted with either Soft Loops or a steel clip allowing the user to mount the blade in IWB or OWB as desired.
