/ˈsɛvə/ - divide by cutting or slicing, especially suddenly and forcibly.
The Sever is a nasty little blade which lives up to its name despite it’s small stature. A response to some of my followers asking for something a little smaller and more concealable, the Sever is based on the popular Clinch Pick style blade.
The Sever is a lightweight, small and easily concealable option which can be configured in either single edge Pikal, Conventional single edge, or a Double Edge option. The point index is slightly offset compared to the typical Pikal blade, but works extremely well at instinctive forward stabs, and ripping actions in the Pikal configuration. While forward grip options love slashing cuts.
The handle geometry is typical of the Clinch Pick style, with a deep choil and palm swell. The handle finish is also contoured so that its narrow towards the choil and swells out towards the butt. This geometry makes for both a very ergonomic and comfortable grip, but as importantly its also very secure. It’s stubby nature means no parts of the handle protrude from the user’s fist either, and a short total length means its rather compact.
The Sever comes with a quality Kydex sheath which can be mounted either using a soft loop or metal clip which can be worn with or without a belt.
