The greatest trick the devil ever played, was convincing the world he was not real...

DIAVEL

Diavel - meaning ``Devil`` in the Bolognese dialect.

The Diavel has evolved a long way from its first iteration in 2018, and become an extremely lightweight, small and versatile little knife that is far more adept at its task than first impressions would have you believe.

The Diavel is an asymmetric hornbill style blade which is adept at slicing and cutting. The asymmetric bevel produces a naturally reinforced point, so despite the thinness of the blade it is still quite stout and good at stabbing. The tip index is also just off of neutral, so if held in Pikal grip it is still usable. This is probably the highlight of the Diavel, its very versatile grip. The handle is neutral and doesn’t force a specific grip while being just wide enough to still feel very positive in the hand and prevent rolling.

This custom Diavel is available in either right or left hand dominant bevel. Traditionally the asymmetric bevel should be cut from the side of the dominant hand, ie: right side for right handed users.

The custom aspect also affords the user the option to choose from a variety of handles and finishes. All the options are ergonomically considered and wholly functional, but offer some distinct aesthetic charms of their own which appeal to the owner. There is a range of options from G10 or Carbon Fiber scales, Bone Scales, and Exotic Woods all the way to our well known Tsukamaki treatment. The Tsukamaki wrap includes colour choices for both the Silk Ito (cord) as well as the Samegawa (Ray Skin) underneath the wrap. For the solid scales, some other options to add a bit of flair come in the form of Copper or Brass liners, and decorative Mosaic pins.

The Diavel is offered as standard with a choice of either Full Kydex Sheath or Fold-Over Kydex sheath, which are in themselves hand made bespoke items. Sheaths are fitted and pressed by hand to get the perfect fit and retention, and finished for the best comfort possible. Each of our Kydex sheaths is supplied with a Discreet Carry Concepts HLR Clip which allows you to wear the knife IWB with or without a belt. We can also offer other sheath styles like Pocket Hook Sheaths or Static Line sheaths as an extra.

Finally your custom Diavel is sharpened by hand on our Japanese Water Stones. The stones allow a very fine and mirror polished edge, turning this little slicer into a razor.
