The Chimera, a fire breathing beast made up of mutliple parts. The seeing of a Chimera was an omen of disaster...
/kʌɪˈmɪərə,kɪˈmɪərə/ - (in Greek mythology) a fire-breathing monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail.
The Chimera is a mixed style combative knife, taking some influence from Pikal styles, it is adept at being used in both forward and reverse grips.
The Chimera is designed to be a fighting knife. Comfortable and very nimble in the hand, with the balance point at the finger choil, the Chimera is comfortable to use in either orientation. The edge and point are both very robust, designed for hard use, it is not a scalpel but rather a heavy blade that wants to be driven into and ripped out of its target.
The handle is very sleek and thin, aiding in concealment, but still comfortable and secure in the hand. The indent in front of the finger choil is designed for the supporting hand to overlap when used in a reverse grip stab and rip.
