Arcana, the secretive, unknown or misunderstood. Often hidden from those who are uninitiated...

ARCANA

/ɑːˈkeɪnə/ - secretive or mysterious. Often alluding to old or hidden knowledge.

The Arcana is a pure Pikal design. A reverse edge blade with brutal potential and hardy profile. Measuring in at around 85mm or 3.4in, with a robust point tapered from the hardy 5mm thick steel, the Arcana is the brutish cousin of the Shrike. The tip of the Arcana is reinforced naturally by its single edge profile and thick cross section. In testing the Arcana has been known to split bone.

The Arcana is a formidable combative knife that will open deep channels in soft tissue, stabbing deep and ripping through with draw cuts. Despite its hardy profile it has a polished cutting edge that is shaving sharp The handle profile is specifically designed not to snag on clothing during accessing, but also to prevent snagging during rolling flow movements and stripping actions.

The Arcana can be dressed in contoured G10 or Carbon Fiber, Exotic Wood or a traditional looking Silk Tsukamaki wrap.

As with all Ironside Edge Works knives, the Arcana comes with a custom fitted Kydex Sheath which offers very positive retention and is designed to allow the user flexibility in mounting options. Either via a Metal clip, or soft loop the user can carry the blade IWB or OWB as desired.
